Jabalí Surfboards may process personal data about you because you use the services of Jabalí and/or because you yourself provided when completing a form on the website to us. Jabalí Surfboards processes the following personal data:
WHY Jabalí USES YOUR DATA
Jabalí Surfboards processes your personal data in order to be able to contact you by telephone if you request it, and/or to be able to contact you in writing (by e-mail and/or by post) if you cannot be reached by telephone. In addition, Jabalí Surfboards uses your personal data in the context of the execution of an assignment agreement concluded with you, usually building you a surfboard.
HOW LONG Jabalí STORES DATA
Jabalí Surfboards does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the goals for which your data is collected. Your data will not be stored for more than two years if no agreement is concluded with you.
SHARE WITH OTHERS
Jabalí Surfboards only provides your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of an agreement with you (such as ship your board to you), or to comply with a legal obligation.
REVIEW, MODIFY OR DELETE DATA
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can send a request for access, correction or deletion to info@jabalisurfboards.com. Jabalí Surfboards will respond to your request as soon as possible but within four weeks.
DATA SECURITY
Jabalí Surfboards takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. The website of Jabalí uses a reliable SSL Certificate to ensure that your personal data does not fall into the wrong hands.
Unless we pre-built a few boards, our surfcrafts are built from scratch and will be built following your specifications. Get in touch to order or discuss your design by dropping us a message through the website, or by email.
All orders placed are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Jabali. To minimise errors and improve efficiency, orders should be placed using our order form whenever possible. Upon acceptance of your order you will receive a specification of your personalised board and order confirmation including a request for downpayment.
Manufacturing of boards from processing order to shipping takes typically 8 weeks starting from receipt of the downpayment. Any attempt to cancel an order must be made as soon as possible. Cancellations must be communicated by email. Since boards are built to your personal specifications, cancellations after start of construction of your board will result in a minimum charge of 50% of the purchase value, which will be deducted from the downpayment.
Unless we have pre-built boards, images and prices shown on the website are an indication. As each surfboard we produce is handmade and unique the actual products are often not identical to the images.
Our hollow wooden boards start from EURO1600, at approximately EURO270 a foot based on basic balsa-paulownia build with no custom features. The final price depends on design, length, shape, type of woods and decoration.
After discussing your ideas, we provide you an exact quotation up front, and that is the price you pay. If your requirements change during the building process, the price may change a bit, of course.
Accepted payments are limited to banktransfer. The title of the goods supplied does not pass to the customer from Jabali until the full amount is paid to Jabali.
We are offering an after purchase warranty for all goodies and boards we manufacture. We offer a limited warranty against any defect in workmanship or materials, to the original purchaser, covering 2 years from the date and capped at the value of purchase.
Requirements:
Jabali will determine if falls under the warranty guidelines after information is submitted or product has been received by Jabali Surfboards. Credit will be issued or replacement will be send after the product is deemed defective at the manufacturing and/or construction level.
Jabali limited time warranty does not cover the following:
Jabali disclaim any liability for injury, death, property damage or other loss or damage suffered by any person as a a consequence of the use of our surfboards.
There will be no credit given on order price difference, due to price drops. Please select carefully at the time when you place your order. There are no returns on custom order or personalised goodies or surfboards. Return for other products for partial refund will only be accepted within 14 days of you receiving the goods and if accompanied with a statement of your withdrawal from the purchase.
Returned goods must be in its original condition and include all the original packaging. Goods cannot have been waxed, used, soiled or damaged by the customer. Shipping and handling cost are not refundable. This return for refund policy is applicable for change of mind, and lack of expertise for use of product. You must pay all cost associated with the return shipping.
Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to Jabali within 14 days of you receiving the delivery. This can only be done by E-mail. If item(s) received is not what was ordered please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.

Surfboards will develop natural wear and tear and the materials may breakdown over time. Taking good care of your board can help extend its life. Please take note of the following tips:

Due to changing market forces and other extenuating circumstances that affect product availability, and price stability we reserve the right to withdraw any product we advertise and change prices without notice.
