Manu riding the wall
Beautiful, responsive and durable.

At Jabali Surfboards, we design and craft ecofriendlier hollow wooden surfboards for you to take for a ride on the North Sea coast's sloppy waves, the Atlantic shores' powerful breaks or wherever your mood takes you.

We shape high quality wooden surfboards using the best materials and building methods. We constantly look to improve our surfboards to build to the best suited craft combining waves, rider, environmental friendlines, and durability.

In addition we work with designers and artists to deliver estetically sound wooden surfboards.

Unique 100% handcraft.

Our wooden surfboards are completely build by hand, from cutting the internal frame to applying the final coating.

We use balsa wood and apply an innovative "bombproof" hollow construction, which makes the surfboards suprisingly strong and light.

The use of wood's natural flexibility and the weight distribution of the hollow surfcraft give you a pleasant and exceptional surfing experience.

Ecoboards

Jabali Surfboards are a step towards ecofriendly surfing.

Using sustainably grown wood and epoxy glue with a high plant and vegetable matter content, and by minimising the use of and recycling materials, we craft the most environmentally friendly surfboards currently available.

In order to stay ahead of the curve we take part in the ecoboard project, an international initiative by sustainablesurf.org to produce surfboards in a more eco-friendly manner. Jabali Surfboards is a qualified ecoboard builder.

The Surf Project

provides kids with Down syndrom, autism or ADHD an opportunity to surf in a controlled, safe environment. Surfing has a positive effect on their development and confidence level. More information about the Surf Project (in Dutch language) you may find here.

Jabali Surfboards partners with the Surf Project and takes care of all woodcraft issues.
